00 — Where HĀM sits

Room-scale bespoke joinery for shared life.

HĀM Studio works between ready-made furniture and a full interior renovation—closer to bespoke joinery in its design rigour and integration, but focused on the room and functions that need solving.

Each fitted or freestanding piece is developed around the room, its architecture and the lives within it—resolving rest, feeding, storage and daily movement without turning the whole home into a building project.

The Full Commission Process

From First Brief
to Final Placement.

01

The Inquiry

Share your space, companion details, and aesthetic vision through our structured brief. Our design team will review your requirements to ensure a perfect architectural fit.

02

Concept & 3D Rendering

Receive photorealistic 3D renders showing exactly how your bespoke piece integrates into your home's existing architecture.

03

The HĀM Archive Box

Digital is good, tactile is better. We ship a curated collection of physical material samples directly to your door, allowing you to feel the quality and confirm finishes in your own light.

04

Commission & Fabrication

Once specifications are finalized and the commissioning deposit is received, production is initiated. Your piece is handcrafted over the following weeks with progress updates at key structural stages.

05

Delivery & Placement Planning

Packaging, freight, access and any installation requirements are confirmed for your piece and destination before dispatch. The agreed programme is recorded in writing.

Materials & Hardware

Uncompromising Materials

True luxury resides in the details. Every HĀM commission uses architectural-grade engineered timber with natural veneer finishes (such as American Walnut and Spotted Gum), hand-applied sealants, and project-specified European hardware — chosen for years of quiet, dependable operation.

A considered first step

Built for shared life. Backed for 10 years.

HĀM-managed or expressly approved fabrication includes a 10-year warranty against manufacturing and structural defects under normal domestic use.

“I half-expected the free review to be a sales pitch. Instead we got an honest assessment—and a suggestion that a cheaper standard piece was fine for our situation. When we did commission a piece a year later, the trust was already there.”
Rachel Thompson

04 — Commission

You don't need a plan.
Just a photo.

Most commissions begin with one photo of the space and one sentence about what isn't working. We take it from there — no measurements, no commitment required to start the conversation.
