Description
A wardrobe and display wall designed for homes where private rituals, visible objects, and companion life occupy the same room. The Dressing Gallery Wall combines illuminated display shelves, smoked glass wardrobe storage, a lacquered work surface, and an integrated companion rest niche within one continuous composition. Instead of separating clothing, objects, daily preparation, and animal rest into disconnected pieces, the wall gives each function its place. The red lacquer surface forms a strong horizontal datum across the lower section, working as a dressing ledge, writing surface, display counter, or landing place for daily objects. Above it, warm metal shelving and concealed lighting create a gallery-like zone for bags, scent, books, art objects, and personal pieces. Beside it, smoked glass wardrobe bays keep clothing visible but protected, with the depth and glow of a private dressing room. At floor level, the companion niche is resolved quietly inside the same architectural language. A cushioned rest bay gives the animal a defined place to settle near the household without placing another object into the room. The niche sits below the work surface, protected by the surrounding structure, close enough to remain part of the room and calm enough to feel withdrawn. This is a wardrobe system, a display wall, and a shared domestic surface in one. It treats the companion's presence as part of the room's design brief, not as an afterthought.

START MY BRIEF FROM THIS DIRECTION“We'd tried every standard dog bed and cabinet—nothing survived our golden retriever or matched the room. This is the first piece that looks like it was designed for our house. Our guests don't even realise it's a dog bed—they just ask where we got the furniture.”
